About Us

Our mission is fostering the growth of cross-cultural awareness and improving lives of children across the Houston area. Our non-profit club hopes to tangibly volunteer at local hospitals and improve the lives of children and their families. As more and more people join us, we aim to create a multi-national community with a passion to serve, to learn, to understand, to teach, to inspire, and to be inspired. We plan to research in medicine and healthcare, thus provoking leadership in pioneering research, creative teaching protocols and effective clinical therapies. This will help us as we go volunteer in local Houston hospitals. We will have visits from doctors and medical professionals to further enhance our knowledge in medicine and healthcare.

We hope to encourage students to volunteer for worthwhile work through medical healthcare and expect that doing this kind of voluntary work will in time become the norm. We believe in helping where help is needed, even in far-away places, whether it is needed by an individual, an organization, an environmental project, or an entire community; we respond to need as effectively as we can with our abilities and our resources. Volunteering and shadowing doctors at hospitals are invaluable preparations for a career in general medicine, dentistry, nursing, midwifery, public health, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or nutrition. Our volunteering projects are built to varying levels of experience, from those with minimal knowledge to those with an advanced medical background.
